Regional Chapters
Joining a local IHFRA chapter is a fantastic way to connect with your community and network with peers in your area. Each chapter operates independently, with its own unique goals, events, and initiatives, yet they all share a common bond as part of the IHFRA community. Please note that because chapters function independently, they require separate dues payments. However, these can be conveniently bundled with your IHFRA membership fees if you prefer. Below, you can explore various chapters, learn more about their activities, and find out how to get involved. While joining a chapter is not mandatory for IHFRA membership, it is highly encouraged.
Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association (GMFA)
The Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association is a not-for-profit organization designed to foster, promote and protect the interests of retailers, representatives, designers, manufacturers, and home furnishings service-related industries in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
An all-volunteer organization, GMFA formed a closer partnership with the Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation charity. This move freed up all net revenue from dues and events such as GMFA's golf outings, holiday dinner dance, and educational and networking meetings to provide cash grants to families of children and adults who are dealing with crushing cancer-related expenses.
Michigan Home Furnishings Rep Assoc (HFRM)
HFRM, Home Furnishing Representatives of Michigan, is a network of men and women in the manufacturer representative side of the furniture industry. We strive to be the best professional colleagues servicing our retailers and supporting to our fellow associates. We promote the professionalism, productivity, prestige, and profitability of today’s home furnishings representatives.
Midwest Furniture Club
Through the volunteer work of our members, the Midwest Furniture Club has grown consistently in membership while providing programs of interest. Our industry is a globally changing platform; therefore, to sustain our growth, we need each other’s support and networking to meet these challenges.
North Central Home Furnishings Rep Assoc (NCHFRA)
The NCHFRA is comprised mainly of individual reps covering the Minnesota, North & South Dakota regions, with plans to expand to other states in the near future. While realizing that we are competitors in some regards, we serve to bring community and support to one another through annual gatherings and events.
