Description

This newly established position plays a crucial role in our expansion and serves as a vital collaborator with the executive team. Your primary focus is to enhance our presence in the US & Canadian retail market for our bedding line by opening new accounts. Essential attributes include outstanding relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills. Equally significant is your proactive and initiative-driven approach to your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify qualified prospects for our brand through market research.
  • Tailor sales emails, calls and meetings specific to the prospect and how they benefit from partnering with us.
  • Ensure customer success at retail through comprehensive onboarding process including in store set up, sales associate training and ongoing follow up. Using CRM tool weekly to record sales activities.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Keep HQ updated on customer feedback related to products, services, and policies.
  • Establish relationships through professional networks and build clientele through participating in professional societies.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Sales Representative Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in bedding industry or luxury sales is preferred.
  • Experience in B2B sales

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.
  • Five or more years of bedding/home décor industry sales experience.
