Casual Living Unlimited, dba Breezesta Premium Poly, a leader in HDPE recycled outdoor furniture, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, independent sales representative in the outdoor furniture industry for either the Northeast states of NY, CT, RI, MA, ME, and VT or the Southwest states of CO, NM, AZ, and NV.

Job Description

This is a commissioned, independent sales representative position in an established territory focused on the specialty retail channel consisting of the following store types: patio, hearth & barbecue, hardware, garden center, pool supply, landscape/hardscape, indoor furniture, and gift. Besides established retail accounts, there are also opportunities to sell Breezesta outdoor furniture to commercial end users, developers, and architects & designers. In addition to servicing existing retail accounts, it is equally important to open new accounts.  This position reports to the VP of Sales.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, entrepreneurial, and has outstanding skills in relationship-building, organization, and communication. Experience in outdoor sales and account management is a must.

Responsibilities

·         Service existing accounts through delivery of updated merchandising & literature, sales programs, and in-store training of sales associates.

·         Make sales presentations to existing buyers or new prospects that demonstrate how our brand benefits them.

·         Monitor and gather competitive intelligence on new products, pricing, promotions, policies and in-store merchandising.

·         Attend monthly virtual sales meeting and report customer feedback and market intelligence to CLU.

·         Complete occasional requests to identify prospects, report on sales progress, forecast, or other requests.

·         Visit all accounts annually and ensure customer satisfaction.

·         Assist accounts with issues related to orders and warranties.

·         Collaborate with CLU customer service, operations, and leadership.

·         Attend Casual Market, the annual trade show in Atlanta, GA.

Education and Experience

·         University degree in business administration preferred.

·         2+ years sales experience in outdoor furniture industry

·         2+ years in the specialty retail channel
